The tracking route depends on the authority that received your application—not simply where you currently live.
For Golden Visa requests filed through Dubai immigration channels, check the application or file enquiry service associated with GDRFA Dubai.
For Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah requests processed through federal channels, use ICP Smart Services.
Different status enquiries ask for different combinations of data. Use the exact details in your receipt rather than guessing.
The most important identifier. It can be called a request, transaction or application number depending on the channel.
A service may also request your name, date of birth, nationality, Emirates ID or other matching information.
Keep the receipt, registered email, payment date and any notifications together for follow-up.

A status that has not changed is not necessarily a refusal. First check whether you are searching the correct file with the correct details.
Confirm the issuing authority, request number and any transaction or payment-date fields. Check whether you are using an application-status search rather than an already-issued file-validity search.
Look for document requests in the email or account linked to the application. If the submitted file has no update, follow up with the authority or original submission provider using your reference number.
Review the specific missing document or correction and resubmit through the authorized filing channel. Keep a copy of the acknowledgement.
Some approvals occur before medical fitness, Emirates ID or residence issuance are finished. Do not treat approval of one stage as proof that an active ten-year residence permit exists.
The next step depends on whether the notification refers to nomination, an eligibility decision, residence issuance or the entire application. Check the exact stage before making plans based on it.
For an adult residence applicant, this may involve medical fitness examination, Emirates ID processing and confirmation that the new residence permit has been issued.

Open ICP Smart Services, locate application tracking or My Applications, and search using the request reference from your application receipt. If your application was filed through an office, ask that office for the tracking reference.
A passport number may be used for certain visa-validity or file enquiries, but a pending application-status search generally requires its application or request reference and any other fields requested by the relevant service.
The application is still being assessed. That status does not mean it is approved or rejected. Check whether the authority has requested documents and follow up through the channel used for submission.

Ask the company that submitted the application for the official application or transaction reference and the correct channel. Golden Portal UAE does not have automatic access to applications submitted by unrelated providers.
Check the final residence-permit record and its issuance and expiry details through the relevant visa-validity service. An “approved” application stage by itself does not prove an active residence permit.
Each sponsored family application has its own submission and tracking reference. Check the relevant family application separately; the main applicant’s approval does not establish that every dependent permit has been issued.
