For the federal ICP nomination service, the current digital process is:

1. Open the Golden Residency Nomination Application. Use ICP Smart Services or the ICP Smart App.
2. Sign in with UAE Pass. Review the application details and correct any retrieved information if needed.
3. Upload the supporting evidence. Add the documents that prove you meet the Golden Residency category.
4. Pay the service fee. The current ICP service card lists AED 100 as the Smart Services fee.
5. Receive the nomination response. The result is a response to the nomination request, not the final residence permit.
6. Continue the Golden Visa application. After a successful nomination or category approval, complete the immigration and residence steps required for your route.

Where to Submit a Golden Visa Nomination Request

ICP – Federal Nomination Service

ICP provides a dedicated Golden Residency Nomination Application through its Smart Services website and mobile app. It is a pre-approval service for eligible Golden Residency categories.

Abu Dhabi – TAMM and the Relevant Authority

Abu Dhabi applicants may use TAMM or the authority responsible for their Golden Visa category. The nomination or endorsement comes before the final residence process.

Dubai – Category-Specific Authority and GDRFA

Dubai does not use one nomination letter for every category. Talented applicants may first need a nomination from the authority responsible for their field, then complete the Golden Residence process through GDRFA.

What Happens After Nomination Approval?

Nomination approval lets you move to the next stage. It does not issue the Golden Visa automatically.

1. Save the nomination approval or reference number.
2. Submit or continue the Golden Visa application through the correct immigration channel.
3. Provide the remaining category and residence documents.
4. Complete medical fitness, biometrics, Emirates ID and insurance steps where applicable.
